Blessed to Be A Blessing

“So it was, from this time that he had made him overseer of his house and all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the blessing of the LORD was on all that he had in the house and in the field.”
Learn: God’s favor and hand was on Joseph and he was blessed. Through him Potiphar was blessed- everything Potiphar had and owned was blessed: his life, health, investments, property, livestock… everything! WOW!
Internalize: I want to be like Joseph; I want God to bless me and everything my hand touches… and everyone and everything associate with me. Not just for my sake, but for others sake. I truly do want those around me to be blessed. I want to be the conduit through whom God works to bless others. Not for my sake, but so that people will see God’s hand, “that the LORD is with me, and that the LORD makes all I do prosper in my hand.” (genesis39/3) See… it’s all about people seeing God.
Prayer: God, please bless me. Let Your favor be on me, Your hand on me and with me. Please be with me as You were with Joseph to make all I do prosper in my hand, and through me all else I have contact with. I want to be the conduit thorugh which others are blessed such that they see You who are with me… so that they see it is You the LORD that makes all things prosper. Help me to love You more. I say Your name, Amen.
